The Studio

Discover the joy of creativity at the Alchemists Studio-a professional, light-filled space designed to inspire and ignite your creative spark. Nestled in a beautiful, forested setting, the studio offers a peaceful retreat where you can explore collage, mixed media, painting, stenciling, stamping, and other mediums.

Meet the Artist

I’m Cynthia Herrick, and I believe in the power of art to calm, quiet, allow you to find your voice, and have a means for self-expression. With instruction, personal attention, and abundant studio supplies, you will discover that you can create magic through art. I invite you to explore, experience, and be empowered with the confidence to transform your ideas into art. I bring a deep passion for creating and a personal desire to offer you to have a truly enriching experience.

Workshops

A new format for Alchemists Studio workshops is starting this Spring. Rather than scheduled dates, workshops will be offered at your convenience with a date(s) to be mutually agreed upon. You are welcome to bring a friend(s) and have fun learning together. Most sessions are two hours and have a fee of $40-$55 including supplies.

A wide variety of workshops are available and I will consider others according to interest. Current workshops are: Watercolors, Alcohol Inks, Paper Stars, Painting with Paper, Watercolor Abstracts with Zentangle, Paper Box Shrines, Personalized Paper Dolls, Encaustic Wax, Stenciling, Mixed Media Collage, and Momigami.
